Otford Lookdown carpark on Lady Wakehurst Drive — steep Grade 5 track (~4 km return). The climb out is relentless; allow 1.5–2.5 hours.
Cool mornings in autumn and spring. Avoid midday summer heat on the escarpment. NPWS advises against swimming year-round.

Overview
Werrong (locally called Hell Hole) is the park's only legally recognised clothing-optional beach. A very steep 4 km return track drops from Otford Lookdown to the sand.
NPWS advises against swimming due to rips, rocks and dumpers. Fishers and experienced surfers visit under the right conditions — most others treat it as a demanding bushwalk destination.
