Planning your visit
Same Garie Road carpark as main Garie Beach (175 spaces). Walk south along sand and rocks — no separate parking at Little Garie.
Use patrolled Garie Beach Oct–Apr for swimming. Little Garie is for experienced visitors when surf is mild — never when patrols are not on the main beach.
Garie SLSC patrolled area, North Era via Coast Track, and Curra Moors Loop inland.
Overview
Little Garie is the southern section of the long Garie beach embayment. More boulders, permanent rips and fewer visitors than the main patrolled stretch at Garie SLSC.
GBHR 6/10 — swim only if you are highly experienced and conditions are mild. Most visitors should use the patrolled area at Garie Beach.
